When the WWE unveiled their new original programming for the month of October on the WWE Network, it generated a lot of buzz. The new series Breaking Ground, a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to become an NXT star, has premiered to rave review and we also saw the "Brock Lesnar Goes To Hell Tour", which included stops on the Stone Cold Steve Austin Podcast and in-ring action on the first ever Network-steamed Madison Square Garden live event. The WWE Network needs to continue to put out original programming if they want to keep the subscriber numbers healthy. Specifically, they need to add more entertainment shows, that don't necessarily focus on the in-ring aspect as much. The network is jam packed with wrestling action, with every WWE, WCW and ECW pay-per-views, and many classic episodes of RAW, SmackDown and Nitro readily available. However, as Triple H has referred to it, the WWE is currently in the "Reality Era" and the Network's original content should reflect that. Lets face it, kayfabe is pretty much dead, isn't it? With one click of the mouse we are able to get SmackDown and NXT spoilers, predictions/rumours about future story lines, and more background info on our favourite superstars and divas than ever before. Fans want to know more about the industry and its stars, and the WWE Network needs to take advantage of this demand. Here are 5 new "Reality Era" shows for the WWE Network, programmes that are sure to be big hits.
