5 Reasons Nobody Wins With Brock Lesnar Vs. Jinder Mahal

1. The Loser Looks Like The Weaker Champion

WWE

Jinder Mahal's credibility as WWE Champion is already hanging by a thread on SmackDown, and hardcore fans who watch every week already know Brock Lesnar isn't a full-time worker. There's an issue with both holding the top titles, and that could become a worry if WWE don't go down the non-finish route at Survivor Series.

The loser will look weak afterwards, and right now neither can afford to lose clean. WWE are in the process of trying to cement Mahal as a headliner in the promotion, so it doesn't make sense that he'd stare at the lights without some kind of interference to protect him. By the same token, Lesnar needs another strong win to look dominant heading into a no-doubt important WrestleMania program WWE will rely upon to sell that show.

If Jinder squeaks through, Braun Strowman would look like a loser too. He went down without much of a struggle against Brock at No Mercy, so it wouldn't say much for his own credibility if Jinder beat Lesnar. Once again, WWE have backed themselves into a corner with their own booking.

That could have been avoided had they written Mahal and Lesnar to captain traditional Survivor Series teams instead.
