2. All A Dream?
Velveteen Dream hasn't appeared on NXT since his star-making display against Aleister Black at TakeOver: WarGames, and his return to cast doubt upon Johnny Gargano's credentials wasn't a particularly thrilling reintroduction.
As good as his performance was on the night, it may have been too good for the developmental brand's management team to cope with. Placement here crudely inserted him in and around the NXT Title picture at least, but he seems a long way down the pecking order compared to other contenders currently nipping at Andrade Almas' heels.
A post-TakeOver feud with Gargano is tantalising, but his forced new catchphrases weren't delivered with the confidence he displayed during November's instant classic. His in-ring rebirth in the weeks to come should hopefully provide an indication of his chances of progression in the year ahead.
