4. Better Than A Match Right Now
Technically, WWE didn't come through on a promise match pitting Karrion Kross and AOP vs. Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits. That was advertised before the show made air, but The Final Testament cancelled the bout and kicked lumps out of The Pride instead. Here's the definite upside.
That worked better for Testament right now than working a match.
It's important Karrion and pals get to establish what they're all about before actually wrestling. They're also heels, so wouldn't give a sh*t about annoying fans by refusing to wrestle. It's logical, straightforward and keeps a match in WWE's back pocket. What's not to like, y'know?
Yours truly still has his doubts about The Pride as babyfaces (they were heels then suddenly switched) because Lashley isn't the best on the mic, but let's see how things pan out. Continuing to hype this then pulling the trigger on a 'Street Fight' to headline some post-Rumble edition of SmackDown would be a neat idea.
