2. El Idolo Wins!
There's no denying that Andrade's AEW run has been lacklustre thus far. He, like other major acquisitions Malakai Black and Keith Lee, has ended up lost in the mix and struggling for minutes on All Elite's bigger shows. Maybe that's about to change.
El Idolo looked so strong on Rampage.
Tony Khan simply cannot keep overlooking performances this slick or strong for much longer. Imagine Andrade turning in this kind of effort vs. Kenny Omega in the future, or even against someone like Will Ospreay now - it'd be amazing, and it needs to happen.
Side note: Kudos to Excalibur for giving this opener some context. He brought up El Idolo's low blow in the Casino Battle Royale, and that provided a straightforward, logical reason for why these men were even having a match in the first place.
