2. He Can't Understand!

IMPACT Wrestling

Laredo Kid shouted, in Spanish, towards Chris Bey and Hikuleo, saving a security guard in the process. Bey, as is common in these situations, proclaimed he couldn't understand a word Laredo Kid said, and that was the segment.

Its whole premise was the Bullet Club duo being angered at being asked to sign a few Turning Point posters, where they had failed to become World Tag Team Champions. Thus, The Ultimate Finesser stole the security guard's belt because those belts are apparently the same as championship belts(?). That's when Laredo Kid entered.

Even without the tedious - and unfortunately industry-standard - 'I can't understand because you're a foreigner' garb, the segment was literally needless. It didn't (officially) set anything up, though Chris Bey vs. Laredo Kid is the presumed bout, but even then, why? Will this be an X Division Title contender's match? Is the match happening for the sake of it? Will it be a swerve, with the latter instead facing Hikuleo?

Who knows, and at this point, who cares?
