Casinos, Jimmy Kimmel, and Caesars Palace. What do these things have in common? Las Vegas, the site of this week's Impact Wrestling.

After spending the past month at New York's Melrose Ballroom, Impact headed to the Sam's Town Hotel and Gambling Hall for what turned out to be a stacked night of action. Once again, there was a championship defended in the main event as Sami Callihan challenged Brian Cage for his X Division Championship in an impressive show-closing segment. These championship main events, even though they happen more regularly than they perhaps should, are always a highlight of the entire night.

Elsewhere, Allie finally showed her true colours, siding with Su Yung after weeks of teasing dissension between her and Kiera Hogan. It'll be an interesting journey to see what Impact are able to do with Allie under this new character role. All we've seen from her thus far is her being more aggressive towards her opponents. If she hopes to fit in with Su, it'll take a lot more than that to get the job done.

This year has been a huge step up for Impact, with seemingly nothing able to knock their confidence down. Rightfully so as well, seeing as they worked so hard to get back to where they used to be a few years ago. However, that doesn't always entail a completely good instalment of the weekly product.
