5 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Aug 13)

2. Finn Bálor?

Roman Reigns choked the life out of Finn Bálor on last week's show, but anyone expecting at least some measure of revenge (or even a response at all) from the Irishman would be left wanting on SmackDown. Finn wasn't there at all. He didn't even pre-tape a quick promo to promise he was coming for Reigns.

There was no mention of him at all.

WWE are probably gonna expect Bálor to fill a gap at Extreme Rules post-Cena, so one would think they'd keep things ticking over between he and Roman every week. Nope, and therein lies the problem of starting this mini-feud when Reigns is already warring with part-time comeback king JC at the same time.

Finn will only look like a bigger fool if he stays out for another couple of weeks before attempting to blindside Reigns. That's not the way to go. He really needed a little something here to keep him in the frame and remind fans what went down just last Friday.
