The main event was excellent overall.

It was a killer way for Edge to bow out of wrestling in Toronto. On that, it'd be a massive surprise if this was indeed his final WWE match, because it certainly didn't come across as a true ending. He's the only one who can make that decision though. The man has earned that right.

Besides, it's hardly like Triple H will turn his nose up at more matches if Edge fancies working them. If anything, 'The Game' would probs rather a fellow legend committed to the cause and thrashed out terms on more bouts before bowing out at next year's WrestleMania XL.

That's presumably the long-term plan. In the short-term, Sheamus was a fine opponent for Edge to bring the curtain down on his Toronto match haul. The Irishman hits hard, is one of the most reliable on the roster, and has history with Edge to make his inclusion logical.
