5 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown Live! In Newcastle (May 17)
4. 'Cien'
Just days removed from his SmackDown Live! squash debut, Andrade Almas was again in confident form as he took apart Sin Cara in a match substantially better than it had any right to be.
Almas made a fine crash pad for Cara in the early stages, with a couple of crowd-pleasing lucha spots filling the time before his inevitable succumbing to the former NXT Champion's hammerlock DDT. Cara sold that well too, helping further establish 'Cien' as a contender on the blue brand following his remarkable turnaround in Orlando.
On duty and on point, Zelina Vega's brief interference was a reminder of her key role in his continued success and reflected the company's interest in them as an act to be kept together unlike similar erroneously split pairs.
