5. Wheeler Yuta Downs A Giant
We got another good Blackpool Combat Club trios match this week. While a little less kinetic than the previous show's, this had a clearer dynamic, with The Factory's combination of heel stooging (Aaron Solo and QT Marshall) and outright brawn (Nick Comoroto) meshing well with William Regal's violence gang - and Wheeler Yuta received like a hero in his Philly hometown.
Yuta provided much of the meat on this match's bones, taking heat from Comoroto before tagging in to a mega-pop later on. He ended up putting the big man away, too, hammering him with Bryan Danielson-esque elbows when trapped in a hold, forcing Comoroto down to the ground, then rolling him into a seatbelt pin while Danielson and Jon Moxley neutralised Marshall and Solo.
A nice showcase for Yuta, with AEW continuing to do right by its wrestlers when swinging through their hometowns. The Factory did a good job doing the job too.
