Ups...

5. “The Sons Of Haku”

SmackDown featured a short pre-taped promo from Tama and Talla Tonga with a special guest appearance from Haku. That was unexpected, but it's what the team were talking about when they warned Solo Sikoa that "the elders" weren't happy. Haku getting another run on WWE TV in 2026 isn't something that anyone would've had on their bingo cards, but here it is.

He called on both to “make them fear again”. Yep, this fan could go for the legend coming back to work as their manager full time, because Tama and Talla badly need some menace after that whole MFTs disaster. Solo has moved on, so why can’t they? Plus, SmackDown sorely needs actual tag-teams with purpose. This could be something to keep an eye on. The "Tongan Terrors", as Wade Barrett called them, wiped out Damian Priest, R-Truth and The War Raiders later on.

That was the only thing of note from that entire match/segment.

It'd be pretty sweet if WWE recycled an old WCW idea that Haku/Meng had with The Barbarian and called Tama and Talla 'Faces Of Fear'. That was always such a badass tag-team name, and it's ripe for use. Younger fans won't know much about it, and older ones who did pay attention to WCW's midcard pack in the mid-90s will get a kick out of hearing it again.

Besides, the stories about how much of a hard nut Haku is have become stuff of legend. This act just feels right. Here's hoping it works out and we get a killer unit out of it.
