No, it isn't anyone's fault that poor Liv Morgan got injured and upended WWE's plans, but those plans weren't especially interesting anyway. Being brutally honest, nothing about the Women's Tag-Team Title scene ever is. It's simply a weekly chore to sit through.

Shotzi suddenly popping back into view just because Liv got injured and Raquel Rodriguez needed a partner hasn't done much to sell the division either. Fingers crossed this inevitable Damage CTRL split breathes new life into the non-title women's scene on SmackDown.

The ladies badly need it.

Y'know what the worst thing is? Everyone's working hard to try and make something of these segments, but they always come across as throwaway, haphazard nonsense that WWE scripts on a napkin in catering two hours before the show goes live.
