A main stage reminder of why Bray Wyatt should be a million miles away from there, smoke and mirrors employed in his losing WWE Championship defence against Randy Orton were amongst the stupidest in company history.

On evidence over the years, neither Bray nor Randy have ever proven themselves effective stadium wrestlers, and Orton's RKO mercy-killing at least kept the stifled suffering to minimum.

Worst of all was in just how wide of the mark WWE were. 'The Viper' joining The Wyatt Family had been (until his ludicrous reveal) one of the best angles all year. It's the weekly churn casual observes forget, saving their brain whatever goes down on 'The Grandest Stage'. It's why smart workers like Triple H always try and look good there, and why the likes of Bray should have fought much harder to do the same.
