Ups...

5. The Strongest Arm

Any New Japan wrestler not named Kazuchika Okada (which would've been impossible, given his overseas commitments) was going to feel like a relative comedown when Jon Moxley's match with Hiroshi Tanahashi was scrapped.

This is why the Satoshi Kojima announcement hasn't been universally well-received - which is unfair. Kojima rules. Comfortably the least shot of NJPW's Third Generation, he will be a stiff, spirited, and fun opponent for Moxley on 5 September, and has significant pedigree as a former IWGP Heavyweight and Triple Crown Champion.

This will rule.

Trust the process.

And Moxley cut a good promo here too, promising the public execution of a legend after the Tanahashi match dissolved. There's a nasty quality to his current tweener-leaning work begging to explode at the moment.
