Long before the "everybody on the card!" quickfix was...quickly fixed by battle royals, WWE often inserted multiple meaningless singles matches onto cards in order to make the most of the massive roster.

By 1992, not only was said collection thinning, but so too was the talent within. To that end, WWE booked a run-of-the-mill multi-man tag match that catered mostly to guest ring announcer and "Family Feud" host Ray Combs.

The four heels sold his gentle barbs as if they were suffering the finishers of their actual foes - and it was just about the only selling of note they had to do. The entire clash was wrapped up in 6:33 when Virgil dodged getting decked with his own nose-guard after a Nasty Boys miscommunication.
