5 Ups & 7 Downs From WWE WrestleMania 34
1. Bloody Hell
Brock Lesnar's WrestleMania 34 victory over Roman Reigns was perhaps the most depressing in the history of the event, not least because there wasn't any winner that would have sent the angry crowd home happy.
Booing what they assumed was a 'Big Dog' win from the opening bell, the fans didn't bite on six F5s, nor Roman losing a few pints of blood as the pair desperately tried to create drama with a grisly and unnecessary finish. Lesnar wailed has he delivered the final blow, as if to instruct the audience to do the same instead of leaving early or lob another beachball around.
Red had once equalled green, but Stone Cold Steve Austin gutting his way through the Sharpshooter against Bret Hart, this was not. This wasn't even a near-dead Stone Cold Steve Austin retiring against The Rock. Ahead of a personal battle that would transform every perception about the beleaguered 'Big Dog', the 'Roman Empire' yet again looked in a state of ruin.
