One recurring problem with the female scene in WWE over the years has been their inability to book women in truly interesting ways. Admittedly, Charlotte's current heel characteristics still fit into the age-old 'bitch' category. It seems like the company simply can't get beyond that. Thankfully, something intriguing is happening regarding her on-screen relationship with Becky Lynch. On Smackdown, Charlotte helped Lynch defeat Brie Bella. Previously, Becky had been unhappy about the way her friend has been acting, but she was only too happy to capitalise on the distraction caused to Brie and pick up the win. It was only afterwards that she looked a little bemused by it all. Backstage, she confronted Charlotte about whether or not her pal believes she can win without her tactics. There are several ways WWE could play this situation out. On one hand, Lynch could start turning heel with Charlotte. Looking at things another way, she could be the catalyst for a full-blown Charlotte heel turn. This could lead to Lynch siding with Paige, assessing that she was correct all along about the Divas Champ, or she could stay a lone wolf. At least there are multiple paths for the writing team to go down.
