2. The Social Outcasts Are Ultra Energetic

If there's one thing which helped The New Day get over, it's their energy. Of course, there's also a natural chemistry there between Xavier Woods, Big E and Kofi Kingston, but for the most part fans appreciate their spirit. That's something The Social Outcasts have apparently been paying attention to, because they showed the same kind of vigour on this week's SmackDown. Credit to AJ Styles in the ring for managing to keep a straight face, because Heath Slater, Bo Dallas, Adam Rose and Curtis Axel were utterly ridiculous during their promo. That's a good thing, because they really looked like they believed in themselves. Despite their borderline jobber status, the Outcasts definitely should be portrayed as bombastic and detached from reality. Axel in particular performed with a lot of gusto, his facial expressions were priceless at times. Even during Slater's match opposite AJ Styles, he was vocal and passionate-sounding around ringside, which only helped put over the action inside the ring. It came across that The Social Outcasts desperately feel the need to prove their worth, and that's how it should be.
