5 Ups And 4 Downs From WWE King Of The Ring 2015

4. Telegraphed Finals

Most of the negatives from this eight-man tournament are not harsh criticisms, but minor gripes that can be improved upon in future years. This is a perfect example. The moment that R-Truth won his quarter-final match on Raw, it was fairly obvious that the finals would pit Bad News Barrett against Neville. That might sound a little presumptuous, but consider that Barrett had already won, so he would face Truth in the semi-finals. You have to assume he€™s going to the finals, so he€™ll need a face: Neville or Ambrose. Since Neville had just fought Barrett on the Extreme Rules kickoff show, a rematch seemed in order. Boom. It€™s going to happen where you can€™t fool fans into thinking there are multiple outcomes of a match or tournament. Hopefully in the future, WWE can add more participants with a legit shot at winning and add a degree of suspense to the event.
