2. Asuka An Afterthought

Since she debuted on Raw last year, Asuka has been the focal point of the women’s division.

While it’s somewhat understandable given the circumstances, it was strange to see Asuka be little more than an afterthought on Monday night. Sure, her winning streak was on the line, and her WrestleMania championship match against Charlotte Flair was mentioned, but the real focus of that women’s match was Alexa Bliss and her budding feud with Nia Jax.

So when Bliss and Mickie James took a walk and a countout loss, Asuka quickly vanished as Nia came out and chased Alexa around the arena. It was as if the Empress of Tomorrow didn’t exist anymore.

And yes, she’s not long for Raw and we needed to get the Raw Women’s Championship match set, but it was a bit much for how Asuka was brushed off in this segment.
