1. So Bad It Was Good

The annual tradition of a Miracle on 34th Street Fight has often been a cringeworthy one, but Monday’s battle between Elias and Bobby Lashley actually wasn’t that bad. And that was mainly because it was played properly for laughs.

But we mean real laughs, not the usual food fight goofiness that we get.

A Christmas tree got used for a weapon, check. Someone got doused with eggnog, check. There was a kendo stick wrapped as a candy cane, check.

In addition to that, we saw Lashley slam Elias onto several boxes of presents. Most notably, Lashley spread a bunch of Legos in the ring as if they were thumbtacks, which prompted a great line from Corey Graves: “Have you ever stepped on one Lego? It’s agonizing!” Any parent can attest to that. Naturally it was Lashley who landed in the pile.

Lastly, Elias knocked Lio Rush through a table of Christmas cookies and used a bowling ball to pick up the 7-10 split and then broke a cello over Bobby’s back to win.

This was so over-the-top that it was actually entertaining.
