After defeating AJ Styles in a much anticipated match between two wrestlers who had never met in singles competition before, Finn Balor came out to answer an open challenge from Kane.

And then Kane shrugged off a lot of Balor’s offense and beat him clean with three chokeslams.

No, that’s not a typo. The guy who spent the last two years jobbing to nearly everyone came back in a mask and now is being primed to be sacrificed to Braun Strowman (who probably is being primed to be sacrificed to Roman Reigns). That really is what it comes down to: Kane needs to be re-established as a threat, so he needs to beat some guys so he doesn’t look like a chump for Strowman.

Good to see WWE making sure that people like Finn put over up-and-coming talent like Kane.
