Watching a Jinder Mahal match is a lesson in patience.

Body slam. Chinlock. Kick to back. Headlock. Shoulderblock. Headlock. All of it methodical and uninspired.

And this guy was WWE Champion for something like five months a year ago. Finn Bálor, on the other hand, nailed Jinder with an array of moves – dropkicks, flip dive, Slingblade, in a matter of seconds. No one is expecting Mahal to become a wrestling savant, but when you can’t transition from one move to another without resorting to a headlock of sorts multiple times, you’ve got problems.

It’s just embarrassing when the announcers refer to him as a former WWE Champion, and you have to remember that he beat Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura in defending his title.
