Anyone who has been to a WWE house show knows what theyre in for: a fun night that has no lasting effects on the overall product or storylines. Saturdays Madison Square Garden show was in that same vein, with very few developments and little resolved. An episode of Raw moves storylines more. While that isnt a bad thing, it wouldnt have killed WWE to have a couple significant developments. Look at Beast in the East, where we crowned a new NXT Champion and Neville had a standout match with Chris Jericho. At MSG, there were three title matches, with three successful defenses, a mix-and-match tag team match and a repeat Divas match from Raw. The unique match was Brock Lesnar versus Big Show, which might have some fallout if Show addresses it on Raw, but otherwise, it was just a fun, extended squash for the Beast. Again, its not a terrible thing, but its a shame considering that WWE bragged about all the huge things that have occurred in MSG that something big didnt happen Saturday.
