What in the blue hell was that?

Who thought it was a good idea to just have Asuka sit at commentary and run her mouth in Japanese for the duration of the Rey Mysterio/Andrade match, without ever offering a word in English?

Presumably, the point was to further a WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match between the Kabuki Warriors and Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross. But unlike the Warriors’ in-ring promos where they drop enough English so the majority of viewers get an idea of what’s going on, we got Jerry Lawler “translating” for Asuka.

It just flat-out didn’t work.
