3. Slow Start, Strong Action

WWE certainly didn’t let Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair go out to do their Ironman match without a plan, and that plan actually worked decently.

The two women took it slowly for the first bit of the match (trading headlocks, rollups and submission holds), and then picked up steam after the 12-minue mark. Charlotte dominated on offense, and the obvious story was the she had an advantage of sorts, but still couldn’t put Sasha away.

Things continued to turn south, with Sasha tapping out with two seconds left on the clock to set up a sudden death overtime period. But the match itself was chock-full of action that worked well throughout.
