3. A ‘Masterful’ Plan

So, that was Jinder Mahal’s master plan?

What was going through Jinder’s head when he decided to challenge Roman Reigns to a match for Monday night? Mahal bailed on the planned match, substituting Sunil Singh and sacrificing him to Roman, only to attack Reigns right after the bell, punching him and delivering a Khallas, and then… walking away?

Last time we checked, a cobra clutch slam wasn’t so devastating that it debilitated a man’s opponent. So basically, all Jinder did was rattle Reigns six days before the PPV but let him spend the next few days recovering from one slam.

The only redeeming thing about this was Mahal’s head-fake of hinting at the Great Khali as an opponent. As much of a trainwreck as that would have been, it would have been hilarious to see Roman try to carry Khali to something watchable.
