7. Naomi Wrestles Herself

OK, that sounds really harsh, but it’s tough not to be a little critical when WWE puts a wrestler out there on PPV to compete for a title in only her second televised bout, with less than 50 matches on record, period.

But that was the case with Lana, who hadn’t had a televised bout since WrestleMania XXXII in a 10-woman match. To be fair, Lana didn’t do badly, but a PPV championship match at this stage? Come on. She stayed with some basic stuff, but she only got the advantage when Naomi whiffed on a crossbody, and then it was Lana focusing on the knee – although she switched from right to left mid-match.

This would have been a perfectly fine television debut for Lana, but to put it on PPV highlights the lack of depth on the women’s roster.
