If you were looking for the definition of a momentum-stopper, look no further than the WWE Championship match between Kofi Kingston and Dolph Ziggler.

Ziggler and Kingston had a dull, plodding title match, with restholds abounding. It’s tough to give a blow-by-blow, because the match was that dull. It’s unclear who to blame: Ziggler, whose motives for attacking Kofi in the first place were specious at best, or Kingston, whose reign has not exactly set the world on fire.

You could hear the silence at various points, with the crowd wanting to rally around Kingston, and they exploded when he dove out of the cage to win the match, but man, getting to that point was tough.
