5. Her Lucha Underground Title Reign

One of the stars of Lucha Underground, Sexy Star was built up as an underdog hero in Seasons 1 and 2, tangling with the likes of Super Fly, Pentagon Jr., Marty the Moth, and Mariposa, en route to winning the Gift of the Gods Championship and potentially challenging for the show's top title. You couldn't help but root for her.

But winning the championship was the beginning of the end for her character.

Because on a show where the championship has been held by the likes of Prince Puma (aka Ricochet), Fenix, and Matanza (aka Jeff Cobb), Sexy Star defeating Mil Muertes was hard for some to swallow.

Even if you were okay with that, you can't deny that the show's ratings dipped during her brief title reign. And, unfortunately, LU wasn't exactly killing it in the ratings to begin with.
