5 WWE Casket Matches To Watch Before Daniel Bryan Vs Kane

5. The Undertaker vs Kamala - Survivor Series 1992

What better place to start than the beginning? In what was then called a €œCoffin Match€ The Undertaker, who was still being portrayed as literally a dead guy, battled the Ugandan Giant Kamala, whom spoke zero English, and never wore shoes. Despite being fresh out of the jungle, he was afraid of coffins.Furthermore, he was a great actor. Kamala would hilariously threaten to strike Undertaker with a chop, realize his threat had zero effect, and immediately flee the ring. This contest was the bare basic edition of the format. Strikes, and Undertaker thrusts were on the offensive menu for both guys. It was a standard brawl that Undertaker won by pinfall. This is the only casket match ever where a man had to be pinned before he was rolled to his coffin. However, despite the action being a bit limited it€™s required viewing for anyone seeking to understand this gimmick match. It€™s interesting to see the novelty of it, and what it looked like before evolving from its genesis.
