List includes former TNA X Division contender.

WWE's Cruiserweight Classic is underway, with several matches taped and the show set to premiere on Wednesday. So far, there have been no injuries, nor have any of the competitors failed to make the 205-pound weight limit. Just in case there's an issue in the future, though, WWE has designed five competitors as alternates for the tournament.

The list of alternates includes USA's Jessy Sorensen, Aaron Solow, and Kai Katana, Puerto Rico's Jesus Yurnet, and Turkey's Vandal Ortagun. None of the five men are under WWE contract, but all have competed for NXT in the past. They're already training at WWE's Performance Center.

Sorensen is probably the best-known name to U.S. wrestling fans, as he has competed for TNA in the company's X Division. Unfortunately, the most memorable incident in Sorensen's career thus far came at the 2012 Against All Odds Pay-Per-View, where he suffered a serious neck injury during a match with Zema Ion.

The injury - which turned out to be a C-1 vertebra fracture and spinal edema - kept him out of action for over a year. During that time, he took on a backstage role with TNA, but he was eventually released from the company despite Dixie Carter having promised him a job for life.
