1. Bret Hart Vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin (WrestleMania XIII)
The greatest double-turn in company history took place within possibly the greatest match in company history. Austin was on his way towards becoming the anti-hero answer to WCW's popular New World Order, while Hart tentatively welcomed a change by turning heel for the first time in nine years. Their violent submission match was the ultimate catalyst for both turns. Austin's gusher of a blade job firmly swung any doubting fans to his side as he fought against an increasingly-bitter Hart's relentless assault. Hanging on in Hart's Sharpshooter and passing out without explicitly submitting turned Austin just as much face as Hart's cowardly post-match antics did for turning himself heel. The match saved a show, and opened up the road that Titan needed to forge its new edgy identity.
