32. Bryan Left Out Of Rumble

Yes, Daniel Bryan wasn€™t advertised to be in the Royal Rumble match, but him not being in it pissed a lot of people off. Even Mick Foley was angry, and he seems so mild-mannered!. Apparently he tried to text Brie about his displeasure that Bryan wasn€™t involved and accidentally texted Vince instead. Oops! At the time of the Rumble, Bryan was the most popular wrestler in the company, and fans were hoping beyond hope to see him win the match and go to WrestleMania. Earlier in the night he had a great battle with Bray Wyatt, and perhaps he could do the impossible by becoming a surprise entrant andbe the last man standing in the Rumble. He didn€™t get that chance. Instead, Batista was chosen, and the backlash was immediate. Things eventually changed, but it just goes to show how out of touch McMahon is if he really thought the audience wanted yesterday's Batista more than today's Bryan.
