Not once, but twice this year did Crazy Steve force himself upon Velvet Sky and plant a kiss on her in the ring. He did this while he was a babyface. Years ago this sort of thing was more of a common practice. In the early 2000s, there was a number of times when a babyface would pull down Stacy Keiblers skirt for fun. Instead of going to prison, the babyfaces went un-punished, and left the ring with a big smile on their face. While WWE has moved forward slightly in terms of their portrayal of women, TNA is still stubbornly stuck in their ways. The women who could hold their own and kick some ass like ODB and Kharma are gone, and what were left with is largely models who are treated more as props than actual fighters. Steves actions were the lowest points of the year for how the company portrays women, but sadly without any changes in management during their re-branding effort, were likely to see more of this nonsense. Basically, TNA is run by a bunch of Bozos!
