AEW's three-week run of mini-supercards in Dyamite's usual timeslot concludes with tonight's Fight for the Fallen show, headlined by Jon Moxley defending the World Championship against the rising Brian Cage.
While the headliner is unquestionably the show's most notable aspect from a creative standpoint, FFTF 2020, like last year's edition, is a benefit show. The 2019 event sought to raise funds for victims of gun violence. This time, AEW is generating proceeds for organisations attempting to provide relief from the ongoing global health crisis. Tony Khan and his family have already made a $1 million donation and fans looking to contribute can pick up a t-shirt, with 100% of the proceeds going to charity.
Also on the card is Cody's TNT Championship clash with Sonny Kiss, a first-time-ever tag team dream match in FTR vs the Lucha Brothers, a surefire trios winner as The Elite face Jurassic Express, and more. A great show on paper: fingers crossed it delivers to a similar level as Fyter Fest.
A viewership increase would be heartening as well, particularly as AEW isn't comparing with NXT's Great American Bash this week. Their dominance in the 18-49 demographic remains intact, though.
