6 Major Impacts Triple H Has Made As A WWE Executive

5. Focus On The Tag Team Division & Wrestling Factions

During the twilight of Ric Flair's wrestling days in the WWE, Triple H is the one who elevated him back to prominence when they formed Evolution. Flair was Triple H's wrestling idol growing up, and he admired his work with the 4 Horseman in the NWA and WCW. We have seen a return to the wrestling stable or factions in today's WWE, with groups like The Shield and The Wyatt Family gaining success over the last year. Triple H has even brought back his group Evolution to feud with The Shield. By having these stables, we are able to see more 6-man tag team matches on RAW and SmackDown. These longer yet fast paced matches helps during a three hour show to keep the audience interested, and not phase out. Besides The New Age Outlaws, how many tag teams do you remember during the Attitude Era and shortly there after? It's hard to come up with any off the top of my head. There were tag team matches, where two singles stars were placed in a team for a match that night, but not many true tag teams. Look at how the tag team division has been revamped recently. We have had teams like The Usos, Cody Rhodes & Goldust, Rollins & Reigns, Rybaxel, Los Matadores, The Real Americans and more. The tag team titles have become relevant again, and they were showcased in a Fatal Four Way match at WrestleMania a couple weeks ago.
