6 Ups & 0 Downs From Last Night's WWE NXT (Mar 21)
3. Total Eclipse Of Her Start
For all her wickedness in her maiden effort against Ember Moon at TakeOver: Philadelphia, there was a bizarrely sympathetic air about the way the match concluded. It was impossible not to support the brave titleholder for her canny escape with the gold, but Shayna Baszler's legitimately impressive and laser-focussed attacks weren't without merit.
Undone back then, she nonetheless immediately established herself as a threat to the current NXT Women's Champion and was worthy of the rematch she received.
The opposing forces were again at play here, with Moon's confident victory over Aliyah undone by the ultra-arrogant 'Queen Of Spades' pulling her performance apart on commentary.
The loaded card earlier this year somewhat overwhelmed their match in January, but if this rivalry has any echoes of the incredible Moon/Asuka rivalry from 2017, the second meeting between the pair stands to be even more spectacular than the first.
