Ups...

6. Big E’s Aggression

WWE

Good, clean sports entertainment silliness.

That's how one could sum up the segment between Big E and Apollo Crews. The former cut their sit-down interview short and drove a golf cart (?!) halfway across Tropicana Field so that he could find his Fastlane opponent. Then, E set about the task of bouncing Crews around like a pinball.

There were two major pluses here. One, E dispensed with his usual New Day-ish goofy behaviour in favour of a much more serious style. Two, WWE didn't plump for the formulaic heel beatdown before a pay-per-view (they wanted that for another story later on) that would've telegraphed Big E's win on Sunday.

Seeing a cowardly side of Apollo's personality was arguably premature after weeks of self-assured dominance, but all heels must show weakness at some point. It's hardly a problem that Crews did so here, especially when E was so fired up and aggressive.
