All Elite Wrestling continued proving its ability to weather any storm on last night's Dynamite, delivering two more hours of quality television without four of its biggest stars.

CM Punk, The Young Bucks, and Kenny Omega are names Tony Khan will ultimately want to retain coming out of the All Out 2022 mess. The Elite, in particular, would be crushing losses whose departures would rob AEW of much of its identity. Nonetheless, the past fortnight has shown that at least in the short term, this company can still hit the creative mark - even if it means Jon Moxley cancelling a six-week fishing trip.

This was all about setting the table for Grand Slam. Next week's Arthur Ashe special got its main event as Chris Jericho fought Bryan Danielson and Moxley met Sammy Guevara in the ongoing Tournament of Champions. Elsewhere, there were new developments in the Interim Women's World Title scene, Swerve In Our Glory felled fill-in challengers ahead of facing The Acclaimed, and MJF did MJF things (which is to say he was excellent).
