4. NXT North American Women’s Title
Pro wrestling's solution to everything will always be MORE BELTS.
NXT GM Ava appeared in a short backstage promo to announce that the brand will crown a new North American Women's Champ soon. Sure, the industry hardly needs yet another belt for everyone to keep track of, but this is another step forwards for the women's locker room and they must be buzzing about that.
Now, NXT's ladies have a midcard strap to fight for as well as the main 'World' one. There's every chance this turns out to be a tester from Trips and HBK for something similar on the main roster. The Women's Intercontinental Title has long been discussed online, for example. It's almost surely incoming soon-ish.
This fan isn't sold on the thought of another title kicking around WWE's product, but it's 100% better to have a singles strap than the dreary Women's Tag Titles that were abandoned on NXT a while back. Fingers crossed this announcement is remembered as a beautiful day for women's wrestling in WWE.
