Here we go again, people.

It'll be pretty difficult for All Elite to get fans hyped for Keith Lee vs. Swerve Strickland after so much time has passed. This is a match that should've happened on pay-per-view a long, long time ago, so it's brave to try reignite the flames heading into 2024. AEW fancies giving it a go anyway, apparently.

Keith cut a promo following his win over Brian Cage (more on that in the 'Ups'). He referenced Swerve's prior cinder block attack that took him out around a year ago, and vowed revenge. There was nothing wrong with the speech, but...Strickland has kinda moved on since then. He has bigger things to think about.

Being brutally honest, Lee feels a little too rearview mirror for Swerve at the moment. Fingers crossed everyone finds a way to make this work, but the ship has sailed on the rivalry. It could've happened in 2022, and probs should've. Instead, there's a chance AEW will try it on at Revolution 2024.

Hmm.
