6 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Dynamite (November 1 - Results & Review)

3. Jon Moxley Is Back

AEW

After Orange Cassidy squeaked by Claudio Castagnoli in the opener, he was attacked by Jon Moxley. The beat-down looked good enough, and it was allowed to go on as long as it did through HOOK's ejection from the arena. There was nobody there to save him. Nobody else had his back.

It's probably best to ignore that Cassidy is in a stable called Best Friends and has tagged this year with Keith Lee, El Hijo del Vikingo, Eddie Kingston, Penta El Zero Miedo, Darby Allin, Bandido, Sting, Katsuyori Shibata...

In a show obsessed with friendship throughout, watching a badass in a bad mood threaten ungodly violence in a class backstage staring-down-the-lens promo was so much more refreshing than it should have been.
