We can't not speak about it.

The ongoing #SpeakingOut movement has seen allegations thrown towards an abundance of professional wrestlers, a handful of those being current and now-former Impact performers. Both Dave Crist and Joseph P. Ryan have had their contracts terminated, whereas Michael Elgin has been suspended pending a thorough investigation. His status in the World Championship match at the 18 July Slammiversary pay-per-view remains unknown at the time of writing.

Throwing the bout into further turmoil is the shock firing of Impact World Champion Tessa Blanchard, following an apparent fallout with the company.

As far as this episode of Impact Wrestling goes, it was somewhat alright, with dominating performances from Madman Fulton and Deonna Purrazzo (who was making her official in-ring debut for the promotion) against Eddie and Alisha Edwards respectively. 'The Virtuosa' has been declared the next challenger for Jordynne Grace's Knockouts Championship at Slammiversary. In other championship news, The North have turned their attention towards Ken Shamrock, who could perhaps be in line for a World Tag Team Championships shot further down the line.

Elsewhere, Rohit Raju joined The Finesse and Bench Press Express after Johnny Swinger failed to convince the likes of Suicide and Rich Swann to be his and Chris Bey's partner, Taya Valkyrie and Tasha Steelz were both successful in singles competition, with the former being superkicked after the bell at the hands of Kylie Rae, and Impact executive D'Lo Brown teased the return of Aces & Eights to close the show.

Those sorts of teases have become a staple of Impact programming as of late. Let's get to it...
