Bray Wyatt had escaped a potential career-killer of a first feud with Kane and avoided most of the heat that came in-built with his Daniel Bryan series shortly afterwards, and all before his first WrestleMania. Sadly, lack of heat was a curse rather than a blessing by the time John Cena finished chewing him up.
'The Champ' bantered off Wyatt's trousers in the build, panicking many that his gives-no-f*cks persona could destroy the aura Bray, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan had attempted to build since the crew left NXT for the glare of the main roster. Wyatt would get used to examining the glow of said spotlights with this damaging defeat.
The contest, admittedly, was a crushing disappointment and further indication that the 'Eater Of Worlds' didn't have the work to back up the words, but Cena seemed in no mood to help carry the whole thing over the line.
