6 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dynamite (17 May - Review)
5. FTR & Triple J Brawl And The Champions Don't Count On A Karen
The FTR/Triple J brawl was red hot from the moment it started, because it started with Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler pushing Satnam Singh off the stage through a table.
With the giant temporarily disposed of thanks to some old school skullduggery from the wily Champions, the gripping brawl delighted the Texas crowd until the Challengers revealed the ace up their sleeve. Karen Jarrett's arrival in All Elite Wrestling may be greeted with the same caution Jeff's was, but look how that worked out. She proved herself a fantastic heel alongside her husband in Impact Wrestling and especially in Jarrett & Lethal's run in with Ric Flair for 'The Nature Boy's last match special in 2022. A low blow here put over the possibilities, as did dual guitar shots to Dax and Cash to illustrate a togetherness that equals their own.
Karen gets the pantomime of it all, and will matter where it counts. She'll provide yet more infuriating distraction for Mark Briscoe to worry about during the chaotic Double Or Nothing clash, almost certainly extracting yet another exhilarating near fall from a Jeff Jarrett title challenge.
