3. MJF Vs Juice Robinson
The longer MJF holds the Dynamite Diamond Ring, the longer matches like these will have extra weight. Now a five-time undefeated holder of the object/weapon, the 'Salt Of The Earth' has amassed something akin to AEW's version of a WrestleMania undefeated streak. He can't retain it forever, but heels and babyfaces alike trying to take it will stay hot. Especially when, as was the case here, it can be folded into current storylines.
MJF's Full Gear showdown with Jay White has resulted in the AEW Champion feuding with the entire Bullet Club Gold group, and they weren't afraid to get involved here. When they did, the 'Scumbag' unleashed his best inner self and smashed Robinson with the ring (and a follow-up Heatseeker) to keep it on his finger for another year.
An incredulous Jay White on commentary provided an excellent soundtrack, and while his story with MJF might have cooled at the worst possible time, this negative was rapidly lost in a sea of much bigger positives...
