Sami Callihan is definitely, one hundred percent on his way to challenge Kenny Omega for the IMPACT World Championship at Slammiversary.

'The Draw' reemerged during the evening's contract signing, saving his appearance until after Omega had signed the paperwork for their match. This came after footage on the screen revealed that it wasn't Sami who'd hit Don Callis backstage, the shock and horror; it was, of all people, John E. Bravo dressed as the former World Champion, while Johnny Swinger filmed it.

Yes, this worked well as a decent contract signing, with Callihan low blowing 'The Best Bout Machine', dropping him head-first with a Package Piledriver, and then Powerbombing him through a table to end the night. A minor Down must, however, be given to the fact IMPACT kept promoting the Slammiversary main event while Sami was supposedly behind bars.

Nonetheless, this was well-produced. Scott D'Amore seemed a tad cockier than usual throughout, giving the vibe that he knew something, while Callis and Omega felt as if they couldn't get out of there quicker. From that viewpoint, this was some good stuff.
