2. You Don't Even Go Here Either...?
Twice in one show an NXT main-eventer just took liberties with a midcard match in order to get themselves a bit of promo time. The first time was... different, I guess? There was an air of unpredictability to it, and by getting physical afterward there's at least the possibility Austin Theory will get something of a rub from a future match with Ciampa.
However, the second time was... weird. In isolation, it would maybe have worked but by just being a rehash of a segment earlier in the show it felt like someone in production had messed up the running order. Midway through the Green / Carter match, Bianca Belair emerged from the crowd, entered the ring, and called out Charlotte Flair.
Green and Carter just sort of looked on, baffled. Belair reassured them that she was happy for them and "I'mma let y'all finish", but whatever the momentum the match had built to that point was entirely torpedoed by her interruption. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Kayden Carter deserves better.
